| Description: Signed and Titled on mount below print. Madison Square Presybeterian Church was built in 1906 and designed by Stanford White. Parkhurst was known for his condemnation of corruption in the political culture of New York City. The church was destroyed in 1919 to make room for the Metropolitan Life Insurance company expansion.
