Description: Wire service baseball photograph accompanied with original descriptive label that reads: Home plate umpire Babe Pinelli and Philadelphia Phillies catcher Andy Seminick stand directly over home plate as they argue away in the fourth inning of the New York Giants-Phillies first of a double header at the Polo Grounds in New York Sept. 3. Pinelli ruled that Andy's bobble of Giants Wes Westrum's pop foul behind home plate was not a fair catch. Andy had his glove on the ball but it popped out and hit the screen before it bounced back into his glove. Phillies won first game 6-3. Sports/Baseball 1
